A therapeutic massage session could include Swedish, Deep tissue, Fascial work, guasha, and remedial exercises to promote a decrease in pain and increase in range of motion and healthy functioning of the body.

60 min Therapeutic Massage

a slightly longer session to allow for working with a specific complaint or for integrating the whole body.

90 minute therapeutic massage

a luxury therapeutic massage incorporating multiple technique options and allowing time for more complex cases

120 minute therapeutic massage

Add on the use of Hot stones in your 60 or 90 minute massage. This service is not billable to insurance so the add on price must be paid separately by the client.

A full body, hands on session to help you attune to the season according to the lunar cycles. 

Sessions may include sound healing, intuitive guidance, theta healing or crystals to enhance the experience

Body Poetry and art is a revolutionary therapeutic tool designed to illuminate unknown and unspoken parts of the self via spontaneously emerging poetry or artwork.

Body Soul Poetry session

A therapeutic session based on Alexander Lowen's Bioenergetic Analysis principles and practices. Ailsa has completed a 4 year training program in Bioenergetics Analysis.

Bioenergetic Analysis based coaching session

A 60 minute session in person at Our Celtic Hearth or video chat session that lets you work one on one from the comfort of your own home. Work with me on relationship or sexuality goals, creating healthy boundaries, building confidence, connecting with what you want and learning how to ask for it. Defining what pleasure is for you, and how to bring more of it into your life.

60 minute Somatic  Education coaching session

Book a personal coaching or bodywork session with me to dive more deeply into the somatic exercises. These sessions may include but are not limited to the following:

30 minute consult

for practitioners looking for a more in depth discussion of a particular case or patient and wanting to talk through treatment goals and plans. This could also be someone wanting to create or offer a course and needing guidance and coaching.

60 minute mentoring

a gentle class designed to help with functional and easy movement. Subtly strengthen and stretch your body while becoming more aware of how to move more ease-fully.

Functional movement class with Ailsa

A slow and deliberate yoga class focussing on specific postures and alignment. Suitable for all levels.

Hatha Yoga with Ailsa

A slow class based on the Fascial system and stretching for increased flexibility in both mind and body. Perfect for winding down on a Sunday evening

Yin Yoga

A beginner level movement class for seniors. Dance for Health: Seniors uses music, gentle creative movement and social interaction to help improve the quality of life for all seniors, particularly those living with conditions such as Parkinson's or dementia. Caregivers are required to attend with the participant if physical or personal level support is required.  $10 drop in for participants (no charge for caregivers). Ailsa will be leading this class and has training in leading Dance for Health classes as well as being a Healthcare practitioner. Limited space (8 participants with their caregivers or partners) wheelchair or walker access is available.

Dance for Health : Seniors

A deep dive into the fascial connections in your body. Each month we will focus on specific fascial lines to improve strength, flow and connection. $25 drop in

Connect your Fascia - yoga workshop with Ailsa

A slow, deliberately paced class focussed on finding and using the core muscles well so that your back and neck are protected. this class is especially good for anyone working through chronic back or neck issues, disc herniations, Degenerative Disc Disease, Arthritis or anyone who wants to use their core more effectively.

Back and Neck Class

A moderately paced class to get your heart rate up and provide a good cardio workout. There will be 20-30 mins of cardio step and 10-15 mins of strengthening included in this class. It is recommended that you speak with Ailsa if you are new to classes or not sure if this class is for you.

Step Aerobics Class

A slow, restorative yoga class designed to help you relax and let go of chronic tension. Suitable for all levels.

Restorative Yoga

A slow and gentle introduction to basic yoga poses and correct alignment to begin your practice with knowledge and injury prevention

Beginners Hatha Yoga - Gentle

Join our very own published author, Ailsa, for a casual but fun writing group on Friday mornings. Bring your journal or device and a willingness to discover your creativity. We will work with a topic each class and on our own writing projects. This class may function as an additional practice time for the Monday online 'Writing your Heart out' class. Suggested donation for this class is $10

Writing process group

A relaxing and informative 3 hour workshop for couples of any gender combination to learn about touch and connection within a safe context. Ailsa is a Registered massage therapist and long time teacher of bodywork. She will guide you to be more open and curious with touch and your parter and to understand how to nurture each other's body with more awareness. Sign up and payment is required to save your spot as these classes often sell out. 6 couples max and you will only work with your own partner on your own massage table.
